It's a Lincoln already cool 👈🙂. Godzilla crate engine 🤔😉 7.3 powerstroke 🤔😉🙂.
We started out heading down the Coyote Swap road but after lots of research the guy I'm building it for didn't want to cut the car up as much as was required for that engine and transmission combo. He is a Ferd guy and said no to an LS..... I believe he has a line on some sort of 430-462 MEL engine that is converted to EFI and modernized with roller cam and other goodness and an overdrive transmission but I'm leaving all that up to him.

I finally finished the 53 Bel Air and drug this back on the lift. Parts are starting to arrive and I should be able to make some progress soon...

I know @bobm you wanted to keep a Ferd engine but .....
Yeah he decided to go LS for cost and convenience on this car, this car isn't worth dumping the silly money it was going to take to put the coyote engine in it and the MEL was too far gone to try to save .
Making a little progress on the suspension.

I like the stance. Is the customer keeping the original steel wheels and hub caps?
Thank you,,, yes he has decided to keep this a budget build so factory wheels and hubcaps. He has asked me not to spend any time cleaning or painting any of that stuff and just focus on the main modifications, he and his guys will tear it down and detail everything... Kind of makes me not want to post pictures because everything looks like crap..

The engine and transmission are in after four tries, this kit he bought never fails to fail..
