I tried searching.... did not see anything.

I have some 16" steel wheels for non-USA 70 series I use this 6 x 16 inch rim on my 60 series and also on an 80 series I had. Has anyone used 16 inch rims on their 460? I have a 2014.

I have them already, and I have some 235/85R16 winter tires, so I am hoping I can use them on this.

I am not sure on the offset and all that. The picture shows these rims on my 60 series. What do you think? I was going to try to fit them, but before I went to all the work, I thought I would ask.

I have heard that some aftermarket companies wheels that are 16” can fit with some slight caliper shaving (SCS) Probably have a more negative offset than a steelie.
Slap it on and see! Can’t hurt, and we all love anecdotal information.

That's consistent what what I've heard/read. There's a reason nobody is running 16"s on the 460...

Which is too bad. 16"s on 33"/34"s would be a perfect daily/wheeling setup for most trucks.

I really really like my LT285/70R17 Revos that can be run at 35 psi as a minimum street pressure. Its nice and floaty, definitely getting that lots of sidewall feel. I use my old 33" pizza cutter as a spare.

Okay, In a month or so I will try to fit the 16 to see what it does for the calliper. I do not want to shave the calliper, as that's too tight if a pebble gets in there.

If I have to buy rims is there an aftermarket 17" rim you would suggest that is not too costly? Its for winter, not offroad. I'm going to run winter tires like Nokian Haks on it.

I kinda like the look of the 4Runner TRD's. I'm guessing there is lots of aftermarket replicas.

You have to watch the offset of the TRD wheel if you are going to push the tire size. Some have more poke than the rest of the oem wheels.

Bang for buck I recommend take off steelies from ebay or take off SR5 alloys from ebay.

Had a moment

And posted it three times, oops

Especially if it’s just for winter tires you could always stay with the 18” and find a pair of takeoffs. I know I sold my 460 wheels cheaper than I would want when I got my SCS set. As for aftermarket wheels and cheap, those two things don’t go together lol.

As posted above and to agree, the whole reason for 17" wheels is to clear the brakes.
