I have a set of (4) 16" split rims without hubcap clips. Tires are shot. Rims off the market!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mounted mine in 20 minutes,very easy to do and not dangerous like everybody thinks,the retaining rings lock in nicely and you just go slow airing up. These have a bad rep, but it is the bigger truck rims that are hard.The whole point of splits is to be able to change a tire in the outback when you are stranded. Hth

Understood, but I prefer to have my new tires mounted & balanced by a shop when I first get them, and only to have to worry about breaking it down IF I get a flat out in the wilderness somewhere. I can't balance tires, but if they have done it first, I have a good chance of getting it back to the right balance, if I am only replacing a tube. Thanks for the insight though!
