15" wheels on a 100 series?

That might be a bit stretching it. I believe the OD of the brake disc is ~12.5" plus the caliper would probably put it right around 15". These are very rough estimates but it might be worth borrowing just (1) 15" wheel and testing it out for fitment.
 
Different lug pattern between 80 and 100. I have 16" wheels on my 100 and there is less than 1/2" between the wheel and dust shield. Don't remember off the top of my head how much clearance the caliper has. May work if you remove the dust shield (and find proper 15" wheels). Doubt it though...
 
Why do you want to run 15"s? If it's for the added sidewall, you can bust a bead on the tire more easily unless you have a bead lock. Just from personal experience, my buddy ran a set of old BFG MT on his 80 series and busted a bead on 2 different wheels in a single ride. Thank goodness for dual tire swingout's:)
