Bought a top mounted reservoir pump. It won’t fit the power steering bracket and hits the alternator bracket.
The through bolt is not long enough to offset the mounting tabs.

Any help would be appreciated.....

Its a bit hard work to out whats going one but 3 5/8" is not going to fit into 2 1/2" If the seller said it would fit , ask for a refund.
A picture of how it is supposed to sit would give a us a better idea. The first pic looks as though the shaft for the pulley is facing the opposite way to how it should sit in the 2nd pic
Take a pic of the pump next to where it should go.

On my BJ74, I used a pump meant for an FJ6x part number 44320-60090
If I can remember I can take a pic tomorrow.

Keeping the original "remote" reservoir?

I just found these pics on the computer. I recall I had to buy a little o-ring that is needed when removing the attached reservoir and fitting with OEM "plug".
