Does the 13B-T have a timing belt or does it utilize gears for timing?

No timing belt to worry about on the 13bt or 3B.

all of the engines in the B family use gears... sorry, I know it's a disappointment not to have to change a timing belt every few years, but that's the way life is with a 13BT.
