Great looking Cruiser! Do you recall the sellers name? It looks very familiar. The 73/74 is the ultimate wheelbase imo.

Let us know if we can help with any parts @ Cruiser Outfitters (Cruiserteq.com), we stock a wide variety of parts for the 7x Series, axle parts, complete transmissions & t-cases, weatherstripping, steering, etc, etc
Good day. The guys name is Patrick from Texas.

I will check out your site.

Awesome. It drives great and moves better than expected. I wonder if it might be a LASRE motor.

The 13B-T is a turbocharged version of the 13B engine, with a compression ratio of 17.6:1. Output is 120 hp (89 kW) at 3,400 rpm with 159 ft·lbf (217 N·m) of torque at 2,200 rpm. The later "LASRE" version has 130 PS (96 kW) at 3,400 rpm and 30.0 kg⋅m (294 N⋅m; 217 lb⋅ft) at 2,000 rpm.[2]
I'm not very clear on what makes a 'LASRE' engine - as far as I have seen, it's just a marketing term. I think the above from Wikipedia is either a misunderstanding based on different quoted outputs, or just BS, but I may be wrong.

Th 13B-T was slightly revised from 08/1988 onwards but the changes were pretty superficial (bigger camshaft bearings, 8 bolt flywheel - @FJBen can tell you more). It didn't receive the real improvements that other B Series engines got at the time, namely on board vacuum pump, rotary injection pump, roller cam followers (I think) and a monoblock. The block on these later 13B-Ts was blue instad of red. I really can't see these changes adding 10 HP.

Also, the reference for this LASRE detail dates from 1985, just after the launch of the 13B-T, so it can only relate to the engine as it was first delivered.

So AFAIK there is no non-LASRE version of the engine. I think I've tried to edit this on Wikipedia (a few of the details on the page are mine) but it was rejected as I cannot find a source to reference.

so what youre tellin me is LARSE is a LARK

Both fenders are available from Toyota USA. You will need HS-7 documentation for parts release by the analysts in Plano. Your dealer will need to facilitate this.

Also, I would highly recommend searching back over 20 years of 7x series knowledge here on MUD in this section and in the "Diesel/24V" section. Every question you are asking has most likely been answered already.
I just got a new left fender from my local Toyota dealer thanks to Onur's suggestion. There were 5 in the US when I ordered, and it took about 10 days to arrive. I didn't have to do any paperwork.

Read all about it. 13B family is definitely a part of the LASRE series: Lightweight Alloy Super Responsive Engines

Don’t know why I noticed this, but at your speakers in backwards in the dash?
Why yes they are! What in the hell? Any idea how to get to them? It's all metal around them. Too funny!

You can just take the whole dash cover over the instrument panel. Once that piece is off you can reach the speaker on that side.

The passenger side you can just pull the inside of the glovebox and then the air vent and tube and you can easily get to that one.

now how they have them mounted backwards in have no idea.

Thank you. I dig your interior and the newer steering wheel.

Added vintage turbo badge from the middle east.
