Can anyone figure out why my speedo shows "kph" instead of its normal "mph"?? it started when I fired up for a short trip to town. The speedo itself shows mph. I got home and verified setting was "mph"...toggled between the 2 a few times and left it in "mph". Fired her up and i was looking at 'kph" once. I will disconnect the battery for an hour or 2 tomorrow.

Any advice would be appreciated. I did search here and found nothing related.

Were you close to a border? In a few of my vehicles the GPS would determine I was in Mexico or Canada and automatically change. I think my Escalade did this and pretty sure my M4 did as well. Haven't had the 200 out of the country to see.

It would appear that your cruiser identifies as Canadian.

I know you can change between imperial and metric. It's probably in the Setup menu in the navigation unit. Wondering if someone accidentally changed it

That's the first thing I checked...setup shows Miles as it always has.

When on the digital readout which shows the speed, hold the DISPbutton down on the steering wheel and it will toggle between mph and Kmh

No worriea, I figured out by lingering on the button one day too long... then I had to prove I had Kmh at a border check on a road trip to Canada, and remembered it!

Okay, just want to follow up on this as well. I bought a new to me 2013 LC that originated from Texas. It was then shipped to Alberta, CA where it spent 2 years and subsequently came back to Tennessee for the past 2-3 years. The Average fuel consumption and Average after Refuel are all listed as L/Km. The Distance to empty is listed as km. The speedometer is however in mph. I've changed the units of measurements in the infotainment to miles. I've tried pressing the "Disp" button > a few seconds but all that does is zero out the measurements. The gauge cluster seems to be a US unit. So not sure what I setting I need to change or how to do it. Any thoughts?
