Ah ha!!!so I’m missing that piece and it bolts to the firewall. Mind if I post up your pic in the parts forum? Also, what’s this cable do? I see the bracket on the 55 I’m working on but never knew what it was for. I’ve circled it in the pic.

Ok. This truck does not have a parking brake. Moving to a 70 or 60 axle down the road since it has a H55. Thanks for replying.

So @dogfishlake Pat got the clutch line bracket to me. The original pic he sent was a dirty old bracket in a bucket of parts. This is what showed up to my house. Hmmm...pretty nice looking powder coat job

Does anyone know where I can get the soft line for the clutch slave? Both NAPA and Cruiser Outfitters do not carry it. I’m using the one from the 61 but it does sit correctly in the bracket (it’s not round at the seat). and the 61 line is a bit short. I did get a hard line in. Bled it and the clutch has good
pressure. Lastly, can anyone tell me where the clutch return spring connects on the dash side? Thanks.

Haha, it was kind of a fun thing at the shop to do. When I was about to pack it up, the guys and I thought it'd be cool to make it nice. We were doing some custom parts in zinc epoxy primer/satin black so it just was a matter of handing it to our sand blaster for all of 10 seconds then putting it with the other stuff we were already doing.
There's a rumor in Greenville that one can get a small part coated quick for the price of putting beer in our fridge at the shop.

So that’s a good question. This is going on a 1973 FJ55. Using the hard line and the stock fire wall bracket (pictured above). Running a HJ61 slave cylinder. So I believe I can use the FJ55 soft line as long as it has the same thread size/count as the 61. I talked with Bryce and he did not see one in yalls system. Let me know if you know otherwise. Thanks.
We likely won't have it in our computer but we have 50+ hoses and can likely fine a good fit. If you can tell me a rough length, I'm sure I can find one and I can verify it fits in the hj61 slave cylinder.

Anyone know where I can get a new/used fuel filler hose (rubber section) on the 55? This one had duct tape wrapped around it to reduce the fuel leaking. Once peeled back it starts leaking pretty bad. Thanks.

There’s life in this beast. Still need to bleed the air. Out duct tape back on the filler neck. Hoping it does not leak.

Was able to use the stock (I believe it is) pedal with the 61 accelerator cable. Notched the end so it would sit in the clip of the pedal. The reach
in the engine bay is perfect as well.

Glad to help! I soaked the ends in near boiling water and the hose slid right on.
