12H-T, 1HD-T, 1HZ Problems/Issues (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what some of the differences are between the 12H-T, 1HD-T, and 1HZ. Besides some of the obvious like HP and torque. What are some of the weaknesses of these engines, is any one of them better than the other in terms of common problems, breakages, longevity? Any help is greatly appreciated.

12H-T and 1HD-T are direct engines ..
1HZ it's a indirect engine ..

Search also under BEBs and you will get plenty of info about this issue in 1HD-T engines ..

The 1HD-T had big end probs here in OZ, Although all of these engines are good for 800000 plus kms if looked after
