Hey just chiming in years late here. My Toyo tech flushed mine at 75k miles. Now let's discuss "flush" - here's what they did:

At full, normal operating temp they, started the truck, attached a thermo for monitoring on the oil cooler input, connected a fresh fluid line to the external cooler return line and an output (spent oil) line to the external cooler input line, then let the internal fluid pump just pull the fresh through the tranny as it was pushing the old oil out. They didn't use a force-feed mechanism at all (which is what I understand can cause damage/contamination issues). Got it coming out clean, plugged things up, did the top-off per book.

The oil that came out at 75k looked well-used. Not burnt. Not completely cooked or done. But well-used. It's a 7 year old truck that does see some 3500 - 4000lb towing action with our camper. In other words, a good time for a change.

They ended up using more like 12 quarts or something of OEM fluid (some of which I'm sire was lost to "the process") - and I would guess that as they didn't fully lock up or spin out the gears while on the rack there's still some original oil in there of course.

Not $300 - more like $175 and most of it was trans oil. I didn't notice any shifting difference whatsoever. I'm going to look at this as fairly cheap insurance, whether you decide to do it at 100k intervals or 75k intervals. Because I tow I'll probably stick to 75k (their recommendation).
