Need advice. THanks in advance. I have a M101 and just installed the on-demand hot water (propane)/ shower system with the "custom made" 25 gallon water tank with an on-demand water pump. Also with the "custom" NOT getto AC system for the RTT (that is mounted on top of the M101 trailer) that will run off the tri-fuel (propane/NG/gasoline)Honda eu2000i generator. REALLY SWEET LITTLE SET UP.
I plan on having a Solar system installed on the trailer OR the top of the Roof rack on the LC )dep. on some answers I get from you all) to maintain the deep cell that I "might install" in the trailer....
Question: SHould I put the Optima Battery in the trailer and run some sort of "hook-up" from the bumper to maintain a charge on the trailer battery from the LandCruiser engine bay? OR Should I put a dual battery system in the LC and just run a "hook-up" from the rear bumper off the LC, to supply power to the trailer??? Benefits/ downfalls?? I think the Dual Batery system in the LC engine bay is the best answer, but I wanted to get some feedback from some other expedition trailer owners. THanks again for your help. I will post pics of all the above soon, My wife is out of town with the camera, so I cant take any pics.
