While some mechanical issues are unpredictable and unavoidable, please take time to check the simple stuff like battery security, seatbelt condition and overall mechanical integrity. Anticipating the simple things makes the task more enjoyable.

Our event has no direct role in this years t-shirt, however Odd Iron has been kind enough to allow us to piggyback on their clothing vendor.
Why it’s beneficial to wear an event t-shirt …..
1) You’ll look cool.
2) The Jeep guys will see the shirt and know you’re not one of the rubber duck crowd.
3) One can never have too many “70 Series” themed t-shirts.
4) Did I mention that you’ll look cool?

Things you will need for this event …….
1) To have registered. (Closes at 11:59 PM on 9/2)
2) A park pass to access Windrock’s trails (available online or at the park).
3) A provision for food and beverages while on the trails (aka lunch).
4) A strong desire to have fun among fellow enthusiasts.
5) Some “extra cheese” for an impressive raffle. (Mo tickets …. Mo chances).
6) Camp chairs are highly recommended.
Things you don’t need ……..
1) A 70 Series (all Land Cruisers, Prado’s and the Lexus variants are invited).
2) Dinner plans …. We have that covered each night at the host cabins.
** The event kicks off Thursday afternoon around 4:00 pm with social hours followed by dinner.

…….. OUR ALS ASSOCIATION CONNECTION …….
This will be the 3rd year that our event has been affiliated with the ALS Association.
The first year we raised approximately $2,000.00 for the ALS.
The second year we more than doubled that amount.
This year, our goal is to double the amount again.
With the help of generous sponsors, donors and attendees, we’re confident we will reach our goal.
Hope to see you there ……

The event kicks off at 4:30ish on Thursday afternoon (9/11) at Windrock cabins 527 through 545, with social hour followed by dinner. This will be your first opportunity to meet everyone and discuss the benefits of
coil springs vs leafs.
For the next 2 nights “our potatoes” will be served around 6:30 PM.

Sam and I will be at the park sometime on Wednesday to get our ducks in a row (not to be confused with the bathtub toys that decorate most Jeep dashes). Cell service inside the park is very sketchy but I’ll check my email (78toyota@gmail.com) multiple times per day if anyone needs additional information. We have printed signs that will help you locate our cabins. We hope to see everyone Thursday afternoon.
