Sorry to hear about the transmission Matt. Have you gotten it taken care of yet?

Nope. His truck has been sitting at the best western all week. :(

Wait wait. You were, are here. Where the F are you?

An incredible event. I've seen about 4 100s so far. One I would highly recommend for everyone best year.

Had to leave Ouray today due to work commitments. Some friends I had not seen in 4 years were there so I spent Thursday and Friday doing runs with them. I did see you in the hot springs parking lot prior to a run but by the time I was able to get out the condo door you guys had already moved out.

I had a blast, there were enough 100's that we should have organized a 100 run so we could all meet at once instead I've the waves and peace Signs as we passed each other. Next year!

One thing that surprised me is the 100 has a smaller turning radius than the fj. On some of the switchbacks going down cork screw the fj's had to do three point turns while I was easily able to make it in one pass. maybe that's well known but was a surprise to me.

Really a well run event and a beautiful area.

The Summit was a blast! I worked a bunch but was able to get out on the trails in a borrowed FJ, thanks Turner Toyota!

My overdrive is shot but I can still drive it with it off, I'm typing this from about 130 miles north of Roswell and the Hundy is running well. I will say that it sucked not being able to take it up on the trails.

Jacque from TRDParts4u is ordering me a reman tranny and I will take it to them later this week to get it installed...not a cheap fix but what can you do?

We already have vendor commitments for next years event but are not even close to being ready to start planning. This year we donated quite a bit of $ to local organizations as well as Stay the Trail and Tread Lightly. On top of that we gave out over $40,000 in raffle prizes thank to the amazing vendor support. Jon Harris was sitting front and center and can attest.

I am sure Woody will post up tons of pics, I know he posted up a few already on the Mud FB page.

Cheers!
Matt

Was that you I was following up mineral creek? I was behind a Slee'd 100 and an FJ with my group. You turned off at Pou Gulch any we kept going.

Anyways. I had an incredible time. Met a bunch I 100 series folks (I think there were 6 in town!). Special thanks to Matt for the invite. It was an incredible went and I'll be back next year.

X2 on the 100 series run. It was awesome running with a bunch of FJCs but would be fun to do a 100 centric run. I'd volunteer to lead a group over Blackbear-Imogene! Or Poughkeepsie.

Pics later. I took over 7000 this weekend, mostly time lapse, should make an awesome video. Here is a quick one from when I got home tonight.

I had to come back early, had to work Friday back in Denver..:crybaby:

But I had a blast Wed and Thursday!

Here are the limited pics I was able to snap... Yes that is a VW Synchro van coming down Black Bear.

It had to be scary to wheel Black Bear of all places, cause the driver sits over the front wheel base....No thanks,, Dude was white knuckling it but I have to say he was poised and making it happen!!

We did Poughkeepsie on Friday. We tagged onto the group being led by Shawn (sp?) from Pandora...turned out to be a huge group.

Sean from Pandora is a good guy and a good spotter but the big group think is not good for the Summit, we addressed it already since it puts our permits at risk and we really try hard to keep a good report with the everyone up there.

I know a guy that can put a run together for next year that some how may end up with all 100s on it....;} and yes, it will be on the schedule incognito!

Ill post up the few pics I took later.
