The new ARB fridges have a built-in low voltage cut-off. 3 different voltage settings. It shuts the fridge off before killing the battery. The rear accessory plug is switched and will shut the fridge off when the ignition is off. This can be bypassed but it is recommended that you run new power cable at least 10 gauge for better performance.

Personally, I'd run 8 or 6 gauge back there.

Yes, I would set the voltage cut-off on HI with your standard lead acid battery, MED or LO with a deep cycle battery. The temp in the vehicle plays a large role on power consumption. So crack a window open and use sun shades when it's hot/sunny out.

^ This! Run both positive and negative wires to a separate/auxiliary/distribution fuse box in the back...then feed your appliances from there; fused accordingly. If you're like most of us then your electrical needs/wants will grow eventually beyond just the fridge...so go with a little larger capacity wire now to save time & $ later... :)

I also incorporated a circuit breaker, sized just above my maximum draw for the rear fuse panel, in the engine bay near the + battery terminal where this leg runs from...

Finished the install and I love the look!

Also my turn signal formed mold and was growing plants so I got clear signals...

Those are pretty cool! Not OEM I'm assuming... Where'd you pick those up?

Might as well, I'm interested and would love to know where exactly you got them.

I like the way your roof rack turned out, my LC is the same color...I like the fact it's aero and has a front tray.

Do you mind sharing with me the specific model you ordered and options for that rack? I like that quite a bit, might just have to copy it:)

It looks like product code: KRTL003T

Installed tepui tent...took only 10 min to fold it for the first time without knowing what goes where. Love it. Holds 3 adults no problems:

Dat camo

Lol yup.
Simple green seemed to simple.
Wanted to go with siberian camo but it was 2 month wait and would look too out of place in the summer.

Thoughts on camo? Should be good for my future hunting.

I like it! Adds a personal flare. Wouldn't look out of place down here in the South either :hillbilly:

Yeah Nick started it, bake it at 275 for 7 minutes IIRC. He helped me (did it) install the HID retrofit. Thanks again Nick :D

....why wouldn't you do an HID install while you're in there? I need to open up my headlights again to cut back the top bezel to get back full range for my headlights. It's just super tight in there right now, and they're pointed way too low

Kiruxa, I was in Calgary this summer and drove the highway through Kelowna through Vancouver..

Know any reputable auto shops in Calgary?...I'll definitely return and I think the next time I go, I'll ship my LC from Texas and drive back...in fact, if you have any recommendations of shops, tire dealers, etc in Calgary, I'm interested...
