Low and behold I am joining the club of being an owner with 100 series with a bad case of (windshield) rust. I have read almost every post on this forum relating to rust repairs so I am posting my experience to hopefully aid on someone else's project the in future. My most favorable and helpful post has been from @2001LC with the restoration of The King. I hope to do half the job he did. It'll be a slow process between work and school, so I plan to post the progress along the way. Next up is to remove the windshield and get to removing the rust. Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciate as this will not be easy (or cheap) and I am determined to get the job done WELL! (btw, this windshield was replaced 4 years ago and the dealership 'removed' the rust & didn't even put the rivets back in )
Cheers!!
