Hey, so I broke the caps on my stock 2003 LC roof racks and ordered from three different places, none fit. Toyota wants $125 for each cap. If I were to just remove my roof rack, what do I do with the holes? How do I cover them up?

Great, thank you very much!Fill the holes with a little bit of silicon and plug them with some bolts - pretty simple.
The silicon will keep the water from entering and no one will be the wiser.
Thanks. I’ll keep this in case the ones I bought don’t fit.$125 eh? hmmm....
if you want to replace that cap, pull the other side and send me a picture of that part number. I should be able to match it up with the PN for the other side.

I'd probably have a suggestion there...I too, need some caps. Mine are disintegrating all around.
But while we're here... Are there any decent options for aftermarket racks? Maybe with a basket? I remember searching a little while back but never really found something that would replace the entire stock racks that I liked. Perhaps I'm not that good at searching though...
Oooo I like those.I'd probably have a suggestion there...

Your dream Gamiviti rack
So I'm going to pull the trigger and get myself a Gamiviti rack for my 2002 LX in the next couple of weeks. I'm not looking to be persuaded to something different. What I'd like to know from all you Gamiviti lovers out there is which options are your favorite, what you didn't do and wish you...forum.ih8mud.com
