Hey, so I broke the caps on my stock 2003 LC roof racks and ordered from three different places, none fit. Toyota wants $125 for each cap. If I were to just remove my roof rack, what do I do with the holes? How do I cover them up?

$125 eh? hmmm.... 
if you want to replace that cap, pull the other side and send me a picture of that part number. I should be able to match it up with the PN for the other side.

But while we're here... Are there any decent options for aftermarket racks? Maybe with a basket? I remember searching a little while back but never really found something that would replace the entire stock racks that I liked. Perhaps I'm not that good at searching though...

I double checked last night (wife's been driving the LC the last two weeks) and I need a passenger front and driver's side middle cap. The others don't look... good. Like if I squeeze one it feels like its going to shatter. I have a feeling if I go pull off the driver's front cap that'll be the end of it, so I need to explore all options.
So, could you give me a ballpark price for 1 front and 1 side cap? Assuming you have some that are the right PN....

I've been doing like $10/cap plus shipping... if you can pull your good side & get a part number from it, that's usually enough to figure out the other side. For example there's a 215L and a 215R. Use one of those bottle opener things they give you when you buy paint, use the bent end to gently dig under the cap and start to work the snaps free... it takes a minute, but it'll come. And if you destroy another one, I've probably got a replacement for it also. You can PM me some pics if that's easier... but my response time on this stuff is pretty terrible, this is obviously a distraction from the real work here. But we'll get there.
