@whitenoise you provided us with some useful information initially and you are now trying to use that information to slap us all in the face. So I say "suck it". You obviously think you know more than the "whole" and do not have the ability to listen. We have all agreed to your science but you have no ability to listen to ours. So at this point your opinion is mute. So STFU.
I kind of wonder how much experience he actually has off-road. From his posts here and on ExPo, it seems like he's just eating up everything in VDEG4 (which is a great book by the way) and taking it as gospel. I tend to find that the folks with the strongest opinions about this stuff are often those without much real work experience (or with a very narrow range of experiences). Everybody has different needs and there isn't one right or wrong way to set up a vehicle. If you don't want to do anything other than tires, that's cool. But don't come in here and basically imply that others are idiots for having a different approach.
