After searching, I've found some info on this, but always seems to be from different posts, I decided to try and compile it in one location, so hope it helps. This is my 2000 LC

LED vs stock, pretty simple plug and play in the rear, the top led for backup is white, the middle for turn is yellow and the lower for lights/brakes are red. Even though the lens are colored, the colored LED's look and show thru much better.

On to the front, remove turn signal housing first, undo the (1) phillips screw, then using a plastic pry tool on the bottom part of the lens, pry back and fourth a few times, and the lens will break loose, then just pull outward, tilt sideways, and pull it thru.

Some posts mention going in from the bottom, but that is unnecessary and takes a lot of tome, the tab on the lens is just for alignment.

Here's a pic of the front LED turn bulb compared to stock

There is a small bulb next to the turn signal bulb, easy to reach and replace.

Next was both hi/low beams. The LED replacements stated that it would work with DRL, but after install it did not. Not big deal as I was happy with the light output.

Forgot to mention I started with the passenger side, when doing the driver side, I removed the battery hold down, and without disconnecting the battery just moved it back a few inches, and with the turn signal housing out, I was able to reach all the bulbs for replacement.

Now on to the fun part, you must replace the turn signal flasher, or you'll get the fast flash. By taking off the trim panel under the steering wheel, and the metal plate behind that, it's a lot easier to access.

Location circled, it's behind a bracket with (1) 10mm bolt. Just undo the bolt, and pull it around all the wiring, and unplug.

Since the new relay had a different configuration for the metal bracket attachment, I just used a wire tie, which worked fine to reattach.

Hey @Cosmo Kramer - So, how have you liked the performance of these lights so far? How is the cutoff on the 9006 front beam headlights? Lots of threads on here about using LED in reflectors.

Any photos of what the LED lights look like illuminated in the tail lights/corner lights now that they are installed? Different look? any brighter than stock?

Man, I love them . They are crisp and bright, but not where I get flashed, and the high beams really get out there.

The front/rear turn / brake / blinker are very sharp and have had no issues

Here you go, unfortunately they don't show up good in a pic

rear lights, no brake pedal:

rear lights, with brake pedal: from the pic doesn't look that brighter with brake pedal pushed, but it is

Thanks @Cosmo Kramer - how have they worked when there has been snow / ice on the front lights?

On the rear tail lights - do both illuminate brighter when you press the brake (corner and tailgate) or just the one on the corner?

Nice write up, thanks .

Just popped two of the blade style bulbs into what I think can be called my front marker / side light . Not the turn signals.

What's it take to get these bad boys to turn on, I've got nothing in auto , on , or any light mode

Disregard my last , either I didn't push them in the socket all the way or these little blade style led bulbs need to be installed in a certain orientation. I flipped em around and they lit up.

Wish these lights actually did something to help see better , looks good I guess

@Cosmo Kramer
When putting these bulbs in your brake lights did you get the ondash “rear bulb out” icon illuminated when pressing brake pedal? Did you have to install a resistor other than for turn signals? Thxs!

By any chance you have a list of type of bulbs used in the rear? Thanks
