Installed today. Easy. Only bitch was that with monster new battery I had to pull battery and tray to get driver high beam bulb in.

Crazy bright. Low beams are likely too bright. If I DD'd it I would do high beam only or figure out how to make a hard cut off on the low as not to blind others.

Nice....i might have to get a set

Had a good day on the 100 today. Found out what my issue was with all the cat codes. My extension of the passenger rear O2 sensor was the culprit. On the 06 and 07s those are actually air flow sensors. The fuel mix sensors are up front. Anyway when I took it out I found a short between two wires. Completely explains the cat codes, o2 codes, and ecu voltage codes I've been getting. Fixed that so fingers are crossed that the problem is fixed.

Also relocated my backup camera to the tire swing out. Glad to have that back. Would have been a 30 min job if I hadn't had to pull my drawer system to get to the wiring...at least it was nice outside I guess.

Also Bomar...Bak has disappeared. Figures.

Thx.

So would you recommend those LED bulbs for a DD? My HIDs were similar to what you are describing. Very bright but I was always worried about a cop pulling me over because the lows were blinding.

Not sure. I'm going to have to drive it at night, see if I get flashed.

Brights 100% yes.

Ref post 2735... that's a win for you and the 100.
That's a loss for Grog... he sells **** way to easy

Thanks...I'm hopeful the problem is fixed for good. Makes sense that it would be. If I get codes on it again it's gonna hurt my soul...have way to much time/energy/$$ in this truck to sell it now.

Haha.

Exhibit A would be AHC going out when it did

Exhibit B would be the need for mid-pipe in the first place

Would have been long gone

AHC is my fault. It was fine until I lifted it and added all the weight.

I'm starting to wonder if I never really had an issue with the oem cats. Been doing a lot of reading...could easily have always been the air flow sensor.

Makes way more sense. Especially when you see most cats last much longer in the south.

I am looking for some 100 series front mud flaps, if anyone has a pair sitting on a shelf somewhere. Thought I would check here before placing an order.

Thanks

Finally joined 100 series crowd. Purchased a 06 w 200k; perfect maintenance history. Gotta admit from a 85 runner to this was 8 tracks to surround sound!
