^ there are a few write ups. the guy never responded to my pms.

I am considering doing bedliner from trim piece down. I like the one color look but I have some bad dings and chipping paint and it would be
1. more cost efficient
2. do it myself
3. probably last longer

im on the fence so doing nothing at the moment

I would LOVE to get in on the trip you are planning but I dont think I will be here when yall are planning to go. Looks awesome

Bedliner.....one big thumbs down from me on that.
Two big thumbs down from me.

It really detracts from the vehicle, in my opinion. I especially vote "no" on a Land Cruiser. Just not flattering.

Unless you also do the hood and the wheels. Then you will be all bad ass.

My two thumbs plus your two thumbs plus Grog's one big thumb equals 5 thumbs down on bedliner.

I dunno...kinda like it verses trying to get the dinged up paint and grey paint all ready over it to match the bottom pic

I will admit that that one with your trucks color does not look bad.

Hell, it's a $7000 pile. Go for it. Scrape it off if it looks like poo.

Did you finish the lift?

^ im strongly considering it....if my truck was silver, white, etc. I agree but with the dune biege I think it looks ok.

never started lift....little girl was in ER, Dad had a tree fall that he needed help with.

I am off this upcoming monday and hope to do it then.

I'll add my thumbs and two big toes in on that..........Color difference is one thing. Using bedliner to accomplish it is another.

I'll do it for you for $300.

$600 if you help.

last week you said to ask someone else you had forgottenhow bc it had been so long:hhmm:

Is that your new business?
I still think a burger joint/used car lot would work for Nolen

well I have the factory paint (one color with the cladding that's grey) and over the lower part is grey paint which is dinged ,chipping, and flaking. I MAY see if I could just remove it but I doubt it will work. if it did I could paint the trim black and be good to go...

Jrob would use Ace Hardware flat black and call it good!

Take it to JRob, scuff it up, prep it good, paint it to match bumpers using anything but bedliner. I think that's the winner.

I used Hippo liner on my 80 when I removed the fender flares. It can be tinted to match you paint. It is not as thick as bed liner but it is very durable. Simple to apply. Tap off, scuff up. Roll on or brush on. I put about 5 coats on and it was about as thick as a piece of tape. Check your auto paint stores around town if interested.
