I wish I could find steel 18's for the 62.

I found a pic of the tundra steelies on a 100. These were powder coated black. What is the benefit of these over the stock wheels besides being able to bang it back if bent?

These make the truck crawl so much better, it's rediculous how much these wheels are better than alloys.

No benefit.

Other than being pig s*** ugly, I see no reason to have them. it just depends on what you like.

Had to google pig s*** ugly

The OEM steel wheels are the lightest steel wheel for LC's. I like steel wheels so when you gauge them up on trail them get home and just respray them.

Decided against steelies, 200 bucks in new lug nuts was deal breaker, and plus Nolen thinks they are ugly.

Bet that.

Only a Cruiser dork would take off perfectly good alloy rims for a set of s*** pot steel rims.

WTF....they are acorn nuts....max $50.

He musta went to Autozone. They're proud of they're lug nutz... no jokez

Which would you be looking for? The 99 has the weak diff, .some of the 00s came with the dreaded transmission failure....

If anybody wants to search:
no nav
under $9.5k
hopefully 150-180k?
sliders, winch, roof rack ok but prefer more stockish and less $$$

will be looking in earnest in the next month or two hopefully
