Nice. Martin, you may want to check on palletized shipping to the Pearl terminal for Forward Air. I shipped parts from australia and arizona for my 62 that way, saved a bunch of money. Deal is you gotta be ready to go get it as soon as they call.

The forward air place in pearl is your place with a forklift. When I shipped my rear axle they loaded the pallet on a trailer using their forklift. I tipped $10. I can't find their number, but call Forward air and they will give it to you. Then call the place in pearl and make the arrangements through them.

Sorry. Just saw this post. Yep, I'm in on at least a set of 80 sliders, but I can't decide if I like these or White Knuckle Off Road's 100 sliders better or not. I know Mark is usually a big sponsor of the crawl, but notwithstanding that fact, anyone have an opinion on 100 sliders from WNOR vs. MT?

I was between the BIOR sliders and now thes MT ones. The MT ones seem more stout to me. Lots of threads out though that compare the different options.

Believe the discount is for the 100 sliders. Doesn't mention the 80 sliders as being part of the deal. Guess you could ask him about it though.

Got up the energy to install my new super bright led reverse lights this afternoon. Whew

Just converted all of the incandescent interior lights on the LC 100 to LEDs, and I also put in the high-output reverse lights..........GT, I'm sure you'd concur: what a difference in visibility!

I'm definitely in on an MT order, too. Just trying to decide on the sliders or TJM bumper. Can't do both right now. They said that the bumper and 2 sets of sliders will go on a pallet. Waiting to hear that cost to ship to Jackson.

I would imagine that it will take some time for them to complete all the orders they will receive Monday and that we have plenty of time to get the address figured out.

I am ordering my set Monday morning.

Yeah, I looked at the pricing on both, and it looks like the (shipped) powder coated MTs will end up being less than the bare DOM WNOR sliders. I still like the looks of a regular slider over a step slider, but knowing MTs quality, it'd be hard to pass on them at that price. When I order from MT, I'll make sure they know it's part of the CLC quantity order.

That brings up a point: whoever plans to place a MetalTech "shipped-to-Jackson" order on Monday, 11/28, please post so on here. That way we'll know who to expect to get in on the (hopefully) reduced shipping. So far:

From what I understand, they will charge our cards for the 600 when we order. The shipping charges don't happen till they are ready to ship them to us. We don't have to place one order. They said they will know which goes together since our address will be the same.
