Thanks for sending Mike to me Jordan...

-Chris.
Man, you're welcome! That's a win-win-win. Mike got a sweet custom bumper at a great price, you got some business, and now Mike owes me a beer

Welcome to Mud, Chris!

EDIT: How soon until you get a Cruiser, Chris :steer:

Looks great.

Looking for advice. I've had a 98 100 for 5 years. Just hit 220k. I think I exploded my front diff running through some pretty easy mud puddles ( not big enough to be a mud hole). So what now? curious as to what's involved in fix and if there is something I can do to make it better as its a known weak spot.

I am posting this here due to the existing 100 that may become Jace's first Cruiser and helps me keep my sanity due to my new company car (Chrysler Town & Country Van)...

Amanda's sister has had a 2001 100 for quite some time. She has two boys that have grown up and she no longer needs the size or gas mileage of the 100. She drove an 80 before, so she is a true Cruiser lover. So, she wants a smaller SUV that rides as good as a Cruiser and gets a little better mileage. She does not like the ride of the current or previous 4Runners and seemed pretty cool to the idea of a Highlander. I recommended she consider a GX470. Same engine as the 100, but hopefully a little better mileage due to the smaller size?? Any recommendations or leads on a nice GX?

Her current 2001 100 has ~150K and has had all scheduled maintenance and is in pretty good shape. It is silver with gray leather, just like Spivey's. It does not have the Nav system in the dash. It could use a good Grogan level detail on the inside. What is the current "nephew" value?

Thanks guys

I just bought my 2001 non-nav with 150k and a 2.5" OME kit and newish 285s for $10k. Saw one just like it minus lift and tires go today on eBay for $10,100. So I'd guess that would be the nephew value. I've seen them recently go as high as $14k , though.

My wife's GX rides and drives great but gets crappy gas mileage. It's a perfect size to park yet carry people/stuff.

I am having a vibration that occurs at certain speeds. 55-65 is most prominent. Vibration feels like going over a grooved highway. Any ideas?

Check all the lug nuts.
Make sure drive shafts aren't out of phase.
Grease the driveshaft u-joints.
Make sure the driveshafts and exhaust have adequate clearance around skid plates etc.
Hope its something simple!
