You won't need it for a factory rack, but my arb mounts to that hidden mount.
I replaced the motor in Jace's driver door lock actuator... for the second time in three years. Hoping this one lasts longer.
Dude, your photos cant be as bad as mine haha. I have read of folks not being able to mount the ARB roof rack, looks like you mounted yours just fine. I wish i could afford one right now, but I just bought the cruiser about a week ago!
I go back and forth about selling mine. It's great, but I might go to a flat rack.

I love them when I'm using the rack, but don't the rest of the time. I wish they were about 1/3 of the height. It's an incredibly stout rack- more so than any of the other racks I've seen.
Yeah looks kinda bulky. I would only be using it every once in a while, so i can't justify the price. Was hoping to get a good deal on a stock one and kinda make it work. I've seen people using roof top tents on them. I wheel my 4Runner. Once I get the hitch back on properly, I was going to try and use the LC to tow my 4Runner to crawl and maybe camp on top of it. .... Hopefully
How difficult was that? My driver side actuator on my 4Runner went out....a few thousand miles after the warranty went out...
I think I could do it with help in about an hour in a 100. You know how it is. The first one takes 5 hours. Three years later, the second takes 2 hours. The third takes around an hour if done within 6 months. Not much long term memory left on this hard drive!
