Hey guys, my name is Francis—some of you may already know me. I’ve been a member since February of this year, but my passion for cars and Land Cruisers goes back much further.
I drive a 2003 LX470 that I love working on and modifying. As you know, not all mods come cheap. That’s part of why I’m here: I want to start making my own custom parts and gadgets. Eventually, I’d love to open an online shop, but for now, I thought I’d post here to gauge interest.
So far, I’ve created one item—a winch control box for the Harbor Freight Apex Badlands 12K winch. I’ve also designed a custom set of console MOLLE panels made from 5mm 5052 aluminum.
My goal with this small project is to create high-quality parts at a reasonable price—parts that people actually want to use.
Right now, I only have one Land Cruiser, so I’m focused on a single platform. But I’m totally open to checking out other rigs to take measurements and brainstorm new ideas.
