Wanted 100 Series around Fayetteville, ARK

Hey Guys,

Looking for a 99 to 2002 (maybe 2003) LC in the southern midwest region.

I have a funds ready to go, just looking for the right truck.

Looking for

-Southern truck with very little to no rust.
-Prefer under 130K miles.
-Prefer a LC over a LX470
-Rear locker a plus
-I would really like a zero accident truck.
-If over 90K I would really like to have a serviced truck with the TB/WP already done. (not a deal breaker)
-Minimal to moderate mods OK.
-I would prefer lighter colored trucks. (again not a deal breaker)
-Ideally looking to snag one in the next week or so.


I have looked at a few local but they seem to be northern trucks with more rust than I want to deal with or the owner is asking considerably too much. Not looking for a steal, just a fair market value deal.

(Fingers crossed, I know this is a long shot...)

There is a super nice 100 series white on craigslist. 22k with 103k miles. Just search on landcruisers. I have seen it in person. Its fully loaded and perfect. Used as a grocery getter

I looked at a '03 model at Toyota of Rogers a couple months ago. I know they had it for quite some time, not sure if they got rid of it yet?

Also.... Check with the new Nunally Chevrolet dealership in Bentonville. I saw a couple there in a nice 100 series checking out new chevy trucks. It's quite possible they have, or will be, trading that hundy in.

Toyota NWA sold that 100 a while back. I remember looking at it but it was prior to being ready to purchase.

As for the Nunally Chevy, no 100 series as of yet. I just called and gave a guy my name and number on the off chance it shows up there.

2001 White (best color IMO) super clean, southern car, no rust, 2 owner clean carfax LC. And best of all its 20 minutes from my house.


The ONLY thing I dont care for is the gold package. BUT, thats easy enough to swap out.

Ahhh, plans have changed again. The owner of the white 2001 LC backed out on the sale the night I was planning on picking her up.

On the upside, Im flying to Denver to meet one of my best friends, and going to pick up a 2003 Galactic Gray Mica w/ Gray/charcoal interior. 113K miles, awesome shape clean carfax for 19K. Wish me luck guys, my friend went and inspected it/test drove it and says it flawless.

Pics to follow in a week or two when I get back from a 1.5 week travel/camp through moab/ouray/durango.
