I searched around and couldn't find this bit of info so i figure i'd make it easy to find. I grabbed a pex 1/2 inch elbow and some fuel hose i had around to see if it was close. Crawled under the truck and with a bit of grease from the front shaft, the pex elbow worked

Used a hose clamp on the downward facing elbow. Prob not necessary due to the amount of force i needed to use to get the hose seated.

The hose clamp and brass elbow may rattle, we'll see...

Pulled it along the body on top of the frame rail and out the otherside. 5min job

Been thinking about that - but also hoping to complicate it with check valve.

More is always better, right? :spiderman:

Saw a youtube video of some kid doing a slow water crossing. They ended up with water coming in through the ventilation system.

He looked around and decided that hose was some sort of breather so he extended it up high into the engine compartment.

Wonder if there is a video of him dealing with mildew...

you have a 1/2 in check valve in mind? Home depot special? I would add it at the very end since its all gravity based and that would give it a chance to operate

Just drove the lx down from NY to FL. Ac was on the whole 16+ hrs straight thru. i was amazed how much water would spill/ drip out at every fuel up.

I just installed the @Cruiser Garage AC Drain Extension this weekend. It all came package together for $12 or so. Glad to get it all in one "stop" and support a contributor. Valve is an interesting idea. Let me know how that goes and what you end up using. Pretty easy install but was careful to not push to hard and lose the plug through the firewall.

Now that I ditched the side steps, i might reroute this drain line
