We have a 2006 LC100 with the A750F automatic transmission. Now reading 370.000km on the odo meter. After years of good shifting suddenly the car wouldn’t shift to fifth gear. After checking the levels and flushing the transmission with a new filter no difference. So the search begins:
- swapped the ECU
- swapped the transmission harness
- swapped the switches on the transfer case
- swapped the gear selector
- swapped the automatic gearbox A750F
- swapped the gearbox relay
- opened and checked the harnas from ECU to gearbox
After testing and driving for a few days I can’t see what I might be missing…
So the gearbox is new, the transfer case is old. If I unplug the solenoid connector on the gearbox it shifts until 4th like it needs to be.
When I plug it back in it only shifts 1-2-3 and then it stops shifting.
Any ideas what might be the problem here?
