Hey guys,
I just installed an Engine Guard (Engine Overheating Alarm | Engine Guard - https://engineguard.com.au/) and want to ask you guys about the normal operating temperature of a 1HD-FT under load. This includes rock climbing, beach driving, mud crawling, etc.
Since I've never measured the exact temperature, I have no idea what a good range is. Sure, I could drive up and down the beach and set the alarm to go off above whatever it shows, but then I'd still not know if the temperature is already too hot.
By the way, what is the normal operating temperature? I thought it was somewhere between 80 and 90 degrees, but the Engine Guard won't show over 46 degrees for highway and city driving
Thanks guys
