does anyone know where i can find a 1:10 scale model of the 80 series? doesnt matter if its just a scale model, r/c or deicast. im just want to use the shell to put on my rock crawler R/C project.

sorry didnt know where to ask...

I've never seen a 1/10th only 1/18th metal model. and 1/24th plastic model The only 1/10th lexan body I have seen is a FJ40. But I don't remember what company made it.
THe plastic model was by Tamiya.

EDIT: Found the 1/18th maker.. Yat Ming

Pro-Line has a FJ-40 Lexan body out now, for an 80 series, 1/18th scale diecast is the only thing I've seen, and I can't remember the maker of that.

Good luck my friend, Clodbuster, TLT-1, or custom chassis as your starting point?

This is more of a chat thing but oh well. At any rate Proline no longer makes the FJ40 body, there was some issue with Toyota if I recall. If your lucky you might find one at your LHS or on ebay. Good luck.

I looked for a 4-runner and a landcruiser body for my T-maxx and never did find one other than the FJ40 Only thing toyota I found was the Tundra.

Chat....

thanx guys for the help. the only thing i found was the FJ40 shell for a 1:10 scale. i dont think the 1:18 scale would fit.

Instead of double posting...have a mod move it...

Kyosho made an R/C 80 back in the day

Wasn't very scale as it was built on a monster truck 2wd chassis and had a nitro engine, but the body looked decent enough....
