09 Honda Ruckus only 600mi SoCal $2100
SOLD! But I might buy it back...
I got this to help with the expense of commuting in a 100. It's been great. I've saved a ton of gas and miles on the Cruiser. I'm upgrading to a bigger motorcycle.
Looking to sell my Ruckus in the next 2-3 weeks. I just titled it over to me and it will take 2-3 weeks for the DMV to mail me the title. It's currently plated and insured. Registered through October.
Looking for $2300, fairly firm on the price. These are $2900 after tax and fees at the local dealers. And the 2012s don't come in this satin black color. Honda Ruckuses haven't changed mechanically since 2006. So you'd get a not even broken in yet Ruckus for well under dealer price.
I bought it 3/1/12 with 70 miles on it. Now it has about 500mi. The mileage will continue to increase as I use it to commute 12 miles 4 days a week. The previous owner bought it to commute, then never used it and kept it in his private garage for the last 2.5 years. I keep it in a secure parking deck at work most of the time. It's never even seen rain. The previous owner had the fluids changed and engine tuned right before I bought it. I've changed the engine and gear oil (mobil1 Synthetic) and have only used mobil1 premium fuel in it. New battery is only a month old.
This Ruckus is entirely stock. The stock rear suspension is kind of soft on these so I have an adjustable NYC rear shock that can come with it for a fee. I weigh 185lbs and it's comfortable. Top speed of 45mph. Cruises at 35-40mph no problem. Gets about 100mpg. Insurance for the year is only ~$100 for liability.
In case you were wondering, yes it will fit in the back of a 100.
