08 Urban 4Runner....tire question

has anyone else bought one of these?? It is pretty much a sport edition with other perks...

I want to put new tires on it, but the tire guy said that i cannot b/c if i went with bigger tires it would throw off all my electronics.

so my question is, what size tire can i throw underneath without lifting. I want something a little bit more aggressive...

MPG, MUE, etc....

I dont think it really matters that much. I have 265/60/R18 on there right now and i was thinking of going 265/70/R18. Anyone think that is too big to fit?

dunno...would it? I would think i should be able to mod this a little bit. It's only tires....

Do you really think the TPS would be affected?? It doesnt make sense.

The only thing that will be an issue is your speedo will be off a bit and your tranny shift points may be off a bit, which will in turn make your fuel economy suffer but other than that it should be fine. You may be able to find a power programmer from Hypertech or somewhere that will fix these issues though.

i dont really care too much about either of those, so i guess i will grab bigger tires.

But still my question remains, how big can i go with out a lift? one size up, two sizes up?
