Picked up a '07 this evening, really pumped about it! I'm trying to figure out why I can't get the rear flip down screen to show the DVD. I can hear the sound but the screen just says no disc. I'm loading the DVD in the unit located in the console, am I missing something obvious here?

I am an idiot, just found the separate DVD in the 3rd row. I guess I should stick to the much lower tech 80 series. Is there a way to have the rear DVD sound played through the speakers like the front DVD player does?

No worries. There is a mod you can have the front DVD play on the nav screen while your driving. I do this for the passenger. The driver should not be watching movies or texting while driving

Listening while the passenger watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail is permissible

On my '04, the rear DVD player on the flip down screen can have the sound come from the main speakers via a built in FM transmitter. Do you have the RES manual?

Thanks, I don't believe I have a res manual. What exactly is it?

There is a separate owners manual for the rear entertainment system. I have not been able to find it online along with the other owners manuals at this site:

It may be worth you looking around the site too because it could be there and I missed. Anyway, the RES owner's manual tells you how to connect the RES audio with the main audio head unit in the dash by sending an FM radio signal from one to the other. You pick up the audio by tuning into an FM station on the main radio.

Awesome, I will see what I can find and if I do I will post it up here. Thanks!
