Hi all,
First time poster, long time lurker. I have been watching for an 06-07 LX470 for several months now, and may have come across 'the one' at a FL Lexus dealer on the opposite side of the state. Turned in on trade and currently listed at $21,998. Although it's early (no pics posted), I quickly placed a refundable deposit and have been digging into the Lexus service history. The car is only on Day 2 of being in inventory, so is in queue to be seen my the service department and awaiting photo postings.
The good news is that it has overwhelmingly been serviced through Lexus, so there's a plethora of service history. After reviewing, the one entry that I'd appreciate feedback and insight on is the following codes, P0021 P0018:
I searched this forum and found a post that seemed more to do with the sensor, rather actual errors that this vehicle demonstrated (crank shaft position over retarded, bank 2 cylinder misfires). Clearly, you can see that the timing belt and water pump assembly were replaced.
My big question: Is this a red flag? Would seeing this message make any of you more knowledgeable forum goers steer clear? The car seemingly went on to have a healthy and overwhelming long life up to the current mileage of ~158k.
Thanks for any insights and feedback.
