06 LX470: Factory High Beam Upgrade Option? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Trying to buy replacement headlamp assemblies for my 06 LX470 (mine have cracks/yellowing running on the inside of the lenses) and I'm coming across 2 types of high beam housings for supposed genuine assemblies.

The first picture is the same as what I have on the car (Y shaped screw pattern) with metal braid covered cables running to the computer bolted onto the bottom of the housing.
Second picture is almost every available new and used housing I can find (even triangle shaped screw pattern). I had a set of these and returned them as I couldnt make them fit with my bulb.

Is there a factory option I've got and that's why I'm struggling? Is it different in the Australian market to the US?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

The high beam bulb and housing does not look the same in the US.

There are a lot of variations but those don't look OE to me. The best upgrade for you would be the glass version of these. Might be expensive for your market but I would look at other RHD markets, typically 98-02 year models.... could be LC Cygnus JDM too.

managed to find these, same housings for low and high beam as mine.
