06 LX, replaced TPMS sensors problem (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Long story short, I got this LX from a family friend with 260k miles on it. I have replaced the TPMS sensors in all five wheels and initially the light went away. The next day I turn it on and it’s back, took a 300 mile drive and it didn’t go away and wouldn’t allow me to reset it. I took it to a tire shop this morning and they added air to the spare and it went away. 2 hours later it’s back.

I am not sure what to do but really would appreciate some help. Really love the car but can’t stand any lights on the dashboard. Thanks

Does the spare have a leak?

It doesn’t appear to. I’m thinking maybe having it remounted since i guess it’s possible the beads didn’t seal well on an old rusty wheel and tire.
