Looking for some new summer tires for my 2005 LX470.
Truck is stock. I already have dedicated snow tires. Looking for something to beef up the truck, the OEM size (275/60R18 Pirelli Scorpion) tires look too small for the rig. Nice ride, handling, and good wet weather performance. Some of these have taller sidewalls without added width, and I don't want to negatively affect the vehicle stability.
Considering:
275/65R18 BFG A/T $223 ea
275/70R18 BFG A/T $210 ea
285/65R18 BFG A/T $290 ea <---this is the tire I really want, but it's expeeeeeensive.
Also had considered Yokohama Geolander A/T...I want something with an all-terrain tread, NOT a dedicated street tire.
Any help appreciated.
