^^ good point, but I would rather have a good non sag spring if I could put up with the ride. Maybe the 866 spring would work best for this application...

I wore my 866's out towing like this. The truck sits a lot lower than it did when I first installed them in 2005. I just ordered Slee 2.5" heavies, and will install them in a week. I will let you know what I think then :)

I tow my Coleman E3 which has a similar deck as yours. I have the medium duty OME springs and use Firestone airbags.

When I first put the medium duty springs on I thought the ride was way too harsh when the cruiser was unloaded. Now that I've added skid plates and a BIOR dual swing out bumper, I personally find the medium duty springs to be perfect when the cruiser is unloaded to medium loaded. If I have a heavy load and it starts to sag I air up the airbags.

I would think heavy duty springs would be way too harsh for every day driving on an unloaded stock cruiser.

Hi all, just wanted to bring up my old thread as I have finally got my 100 ready to tow my trailer. The brake controller was really just plug and play.I bought a Prodigy P2(I wanted the basic display)As that's what I'm used to towing with. That harness it comes with is pretty easy to plug in.You just have to really tweak your back and carefully dig around up under dash.I did not take any panels off and I'm just going to mount it somewhere temp with some velcro tape.

I just installed the Air lift 1000's yesterday. It was a somewhat easy install,I only had trouble with the jackstands on the tow hitch. It's not a good feeling when the truck starts sliding on them,My driveway(as you can see in pics.)is gravel, dirt and not very level. It felt like at times I was doing some trail repair!

Once I finally got it right(I even had to bust out my hi lift jack!)that saved the day. It's easy once you get enough flex on the rear axle. It's just that a floor jack is not much fun in the dirt!

I will post up some pics once I get it leveled out.Im' going to test it out this week as we have a big camping trip next weekend up in Tahoe.

Thanks for all the input and I hope this thread helps some folks out.As for street pressure on the air bags just wondering what you guys that have them like to run.The directions said no less that 5psi. and max is 35? I thought I read on here that someone tried out 50 psi.? I took a test drive yest. with 25psi. and it rode pretty firm on the street with no load.Good stink bug stance though! I even tried a little dirt road with a short climb and did some real minor wheeling!

So still lots more to do to get ready I need to get the oil changed and check all fluids.I even installed new oem front rotors/pads and bearing repack a few months back and that was a big job for me!
