Our bumper to bumper warranty is about to expire on the 03 due to high mileage (35K).
Anything worth checking before it does?
thanks
Eric

yes, doesn't seem like there are too many trouble areas with these. Was talking to Christo about goodies (yum!) and asked him about what to check if any and he did not think there was anything obvious either.
We'll see. Maybe put the engine on the computer at some point?

the last time we were in for warranty service, the advisor told us to make sure that the steering wheel tilt, telescope motors "broke" before the warranty expired. he told us that they were a high-frequency, relatively high dollar repair. ours went out at approx 20K miles and it took three attempts to get the whole assembly working again. they had a hell of a time getting the horn to work properly.

the lexus/levinson subwoofer has a terrible reputation. ours has been replaced twice. if it breaks out-of-warranty we will just live without the ultra low frequencies.

the bobcat gets used at least two or three times a week around our property. any less, and the wife would question it's place of prominence in our garage. it's indispensible for clearing snow, installing trees, straightening the lane and generally scaring the crap out of the local wildlife.

get one. you'll find reasons to use it!

the only problem is the freaking maintenance and replacement parts. bobcat squeezes the nuts unlike any company with which i've ever had the pleasure of doing business.
