Hi folks, we have a HZJ 75 that came from South America. Figured out why the reverse lights don’t work, the reverse light switch coming of the transmission is not wired to anything. From the info plate I know that it originally came with an H41 transmission but a previous owner installed a H55...
Thought this would be simple but OMFG. Can anyone explain how the molex connectors on the courtesy door switches pull apart? I see the locking tab but can't figure out how to release the side on the wiring harness to pull the old one out. Two bleeding holes in my index finger summoned this...
Randomly came across this guy, might be useful for some.

Have any of you guys taken apart the O/D switch on the shifter handle? Am I missing any pieces? My O/D button fails to stay latched when pressed causing my O/D OFF light to be on all the time.
I came across a thread the other day about a part called Ultra Power TW35 from rock auto. I looked up the part and its only 25 bucks so I ordered one to check out and heres some notes from it.
This is a link to the part, its from an early toyota pickup
So the way the combination switch works...
I need to replace the wiper switches on both my 1995 and my son's 1994.
1994 p/n: 84652-60730 -> NLA, according to Toyota
1995 p/n: 84652-60770 -> available
Before I go Japanese part shopping, has anyone replace the earlier part number with the later one?
@slow95z do you have either/both of...
I have a new one for everyone........I recently got another FJ62 and noticed brake lights not working.
I replaced brake light switch with new Toyota OEM as I noticed the switch was missing.
Plugged right in to original harness with connector and green wires, etc.
Now the brake lights are ON...
Well, just bought this one. Worked when installed and now doesn’t 2 weeks later. ISO another to determine if it’s the switch or wiring. Validated that power goes to the switch, but doesn’t come back out to power the turn signals. Anyone have one of these laying around? Planning to take this one...
Hey all, I'm new to the community and I have purchased a new to me LHD Land Cruiser Prado and I figured I would share some of my experiences along the way as I begin to modify/perform maintenance on my Prado.
Below is so info on the idle up function:
I did some digging the other day and I...
My 24V 4WD control switch (84724-60030) was starting to bother me in how ratty it looked:
Unfortunately, the 24V version is no longer made. BUT, the 12V is still made:
12V 4WD switch: 84724-60020
24V 4WD switch: 84724-60030
In doing research, I found that both switches use the same 12V...
Guys, while removing the rear section of my transfer case on my '97 FZJ80 to eliminate the viscous Coupler, the case section fell over and broke a switch (I think that's what it is, it looks like it might be the indicator if the locker actuator is engaged, maybe?). I couldn't get an arrow on...
Im looking to switch out my tires, does anyone know if there will be any rubbing issues going from the stock 265/55/20 to 275/55/20? It’s such a small change but I’m not sure how tight it is in there now as I’m just coming from a 2011 LC. I don’t have AHC either if that matters.
thanks.
We have a '73 FJ40 that has a '77 2F engine, transmission and T-Case that does not have a 4WD indicator switch or light. I checked SOR, and they do not have one for a '73. Anyone else have a source for this?
I spoke with SOR, and she said that that year did not have one. During those years...
