Hazard switch

Anyone have knowledge of this type of hazard switch and where its typical location would go? I just found it dangling under the dash.

Doesn't look like my 77 hazard switch, or connector. What was it connected to?
It should have 6 wires going to it as far as I know.
Maybe add a pic of the wires on each side?

i have seen this add-on type on GENERAL COUNTRIES types HJ47's and such lije you have there


- that IS a 1983 HAZARD SWITCH device side connector

@ToyotaMatt so you think it was just an add-on? So in that case it might have never actually been mounted?

Do you have a hole in the hazard switch location on the dash?

There are a couple places where grommets are that additional switches could go. I assumed poor man’s trim package.
