I’m in the midst of restoring the dash pull knobs for my BJ40. Half the knobs have set screws…..the other half do not. Without a set screw in a knob, how are they removed? I’ve tried gently pulling and gently turning them to see if they thread off. They don’t / won’t. Seeking some...

Hi all, I just inherited my dads 77 fj40. I remember riding in it when I was a little kid in 1992. That was the last time it was drove. Now I have this awesome project and so excited I found this forum to learn the ins and outs. Cheers.
