gas leak

Fellas weak wrencher here, had my 77 for 26 years. Finally had to replace gas tank. Opted for the poly, after starting her up, my fuel filter under the hood was dripping gas on exhaust! Did I mix up the return line? Thx

‘79 fj40, desmogged, Weber 38 carb. Just started leaking fuel at the side of the carb, about a drop every 20 seconds. I tried tightening 4 screws around it, but no luck. Started once engine got warm, and still dripping after cooldown. Any idea what would cause it to leak here, and what’s...
