Yes, a lot of the prices are retail and they are expensive, especially those outside of Japan. I have gotten some items for cheaper than what they list, but not many.

If you don't mind getting used stuff, then that would make the cost a little more bearable.

If there are any items of interest, PM me and we can discuss it.

That was a very useful link. Most amusing too. Lots of soup rising translations... whatever that might be. I'll be PMing you about some of the stuff.

Once the Turbo installed...

Mot, later on I might need your help to get the 1FZ ECU :hillbilly:
I've been reading these 1FZ ECU ( Engine Control Unit ) which comes complete with Top speed limiter removed, rpm limiter raised, fuel map/timing curve optimized for premium fuel etc...

Let me know if/when I can help you.

Mot what is this?
hopefully lower gearing for low range?

Quite the opposite!

You're not thinking about getting those, are you?
You would not be needing them unless you're planning on putting on smaller-than-stock tires (taller by 5% on the low gear side and 10% on the high gear side, they claim). Not worth $1,500 though.

taller gears for smaller tires? nope not thinking of getting those anymore.

have you seen any gears for the T-case that lower the ratio of low range only? purely curiosity becuase I could never spend that kind of money.

Mot-san, you taunt us with little carrots.
Thanks for expanding our options. Can you broker any of these parts?

RT,
You can also use the following web site to translate. It's good for small segments.
http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/?before=&wb_lp=JAEN

Just paste the Japanese part into the left box and the site will translate from Japanese (日)to English (英)

What about a factory rear tire rack??? Can you get them?? How much??

This has been discussed before. The vehicles that have the rear carrier have a reinforced quarter panel and a totally different lower tail gate. It is not possible to just slap a carrier on unless you also replace the tailgate and obtain all the inner structure that supports the carrier. The quarter panel would have to be removed in order to properly install the structural pieces. In short, several thousand dollars worth of parts and body/paint work. Not remotely worth the effort.

Thanks CDAN for the great answer. I will be giving you a call tommorow to order the parts for my birf job.
