Not sure if a 60 mast fits, but I do know that a plain old GM replacement from NAPA will work and it greatly improved my reception. So far it's held up good, and if I do break it, I can just buy the mast pretty cheap. You have to run the new wire and you may need to use the male plug-in from your existing one.

I don't know if this will work, but it you want to stick with the power antenna it might be worth a try. My parts files show that the FJ-62 power antenna is a complete unit. However, the FJ-60 shows a power antenna with a replacable mast. I looked up the part on 1st Toyota Parts, and found the mast had been superceeded to an 84 Camry mast.

A stock 60 mast should work fine I put a 62 power one in my sixty and it was a straight swap, It even had the electrical hook up already there.

I have an FJ62 power antenna in my FJ60. I have wrecked two masts, and they have been replaced with a mast from a 4runner. Works fine.

Spector has a replacement, new FJ 62 mast for around 40 bucks. Fit perfectly and I've had no problems with it at all.

The FJ60 power antenna mast, 86353-14332, will work just fine in a 62.

Take and unbolt existing antena pull out threw fender well. Cut old antena cord off antenna and tape the cut piece to the plug in on the new ANTENA AND PULL OLD CORD THREW FIREWALL. The new cord should follow the original rout when finished i used the rubber ducky antenna from advcanced auto best dam antenna i ever had on a vehical. like 10 bucks!

I put the mast that Specter stocks in my 62 when I backed out of the garage with the mast up  Worked great.

Good God...when you hammer mechanics put your sledge hammers down long enough...notice that Cbizkit told you the way to go...without the use of multiple large sledge hammers you get the right part and .....oooo it may cost all of $10 more than the little gay a$$ black dildo type antennae and I guess you would not also get the joy of hacking the s*** out of your 62.

Thank's for the sledge hammer tip. I was planning on driving it off a 50ft. cliff in hopes this would pop the antenna out through the splash shield. I owe you one brother.

Oh yeah, did your wife get that antenna I got her for Valentine's Day......just kidding;) !!!

i paid like 12.99 for a regular one at schucks. wont one of their power ones work? they are like 30 to 50
