My nephew installed an air bag system on his Dodge PU, the $400 Viar compressor they sent with the kit sucked.........we were exploring alternatives and I found this on E Bay.......3.5 CFM continuous duty It will power a 1/2 drive impact long enough to bust 5 lugs loose then takes about 1 minute to fill the 7.5 gallon he has......be a great unit on a trail rig for ARB/light use..... Weight is light enough you can easily lift it over the bed with no strain.....one hand.Oh, and the best part, it was $209 with very fast shipping...

Those are pretty nice but one as good wouldn't be hard to put together using the little 12 volt compressor that a lot of people here went nuts over. The compressor can be found for around $50. (though some got them for as little as $24.), a tank can be bought or made in a bumper or something, and the pressure switch, fittings and hose etc. shouldn't come to over another $50. if that much. So someone able could likely beat the price by $50. - $75. or so.

Vair (whatever) stuff is way overpriced IMO.

I will be really interested to see where Butch mounts one in his 40.....
