I have been on and off the site as of late and instead of responding to a dozen different PM's here are some pics and a brief description of some new additions. If you need better pics or descriptions let me know.
First I am running the slee six inch spring and have benn needing to work out some ish with my control arms. this is what we came up with. is it perfect no. does it work yes. there are things i would do differently but all in all i am VERY satisfied with how they turned out. the rear joints are "jimmy joints" and the arms are fully adjustable.they are a little longer than stock but not much.
I wanted to utilize the full up and down travel so i went to a 14inch bilstien. It rides great and keeps all 4 on the ground in most situations. the stiffness is very noticable as i am not running a front sway bar and it has not been a problem. we utilized the front upper shock mount and just modified (thanks phil and christo for those idea's) and lowered the bottom a bit with a custom mount and beefeed it up alot. I didnt really want to lower the front but they dont hand lower than my control arms and are not in harms way so it seem like a good comprimise.
the rear was a bit of a comprimise as well. i definetly did not want to lower them as they already sat below the axle. so we went witha rear hoop behind the middle bench and mounted them into the cab(not my idea.. search bilstien 101 .. thanks woody). This turned out great as you can (kinda) see in the pics that the floor boards are not one peice of sheet metal but two peices witha decent gap between. thus it enabled to mount them higher and still not be way up in the cab. when we first went this route i thought i would be losing the use of my rear seats for good but it really does not impede legroom at all.
Lastly i am including some requested pics of rear lower control arms and my front and rear bumpers as when the server switched they were lost.
