It is a sad day for sure...but she has to go.
1988 FJ62 w/160k...average to good shape.
Very little rust....see pics.
She's been babied by myself and treated to a few times at the Cruiser Spa for tune up, valve adjustment, oil changes every 3000 miles religiously and a couple modern upgrades.
List of things done and added:
- 4 Runner Calipers on front, new rotors, pads and lines bled / new shoes and adjustment on rear / (Done by POSER)
- All bearings repacked at time of brake install.
- Full tune up: Plugs, wires, belts, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, thermostat, radiator flush, tranny flush, both diffs changed(oil)...all at 155k
- Valve adjustment and steam cleaning of valve cover including new gasket. (Done by POSER)
- New exhaust from cat all the way back (Done at 152k)
- Saab leather seats installed, but not wired for heat and movement yet.
- Scion stereo installed along with IPOD direct connect and charge.
- Sylvania Silverstar Head lights...including brights
- New bulbs in all lights outside and new covers on all lights except rear drivers side....extra set of all marker lights as well
- All door lock actuators and power window motors cleaned and greased
Extra items included with sale....at asking price
- (4) Rock Crawler Black 15 x 8 steel wheels new and in the box. (3.75 Backspacing)...will fit with caliper grinding or spacers...Spacers included with wheels
- 1 Set of battery cables from Urban Landcruisers...Heavy as Hell
- Optima Yellow Top battery.....Series 31...Brand New
- Extra set of marker lights....4
- Toyota Oil filter (The big one)
- Factory Service Manual
I hate to see her go, but need to get a sedan for the wife as I will be driving her 4runner now as she goes back to school.
Heat blows nice and warm, AC blows really cold. Like I said, all power windows and door locks work like a dream.
There are a couple of small rust areas but not bad. I have driven her so nicely and not really that often...Company vehicle.
Cruiser has 31 x 10.50 Firestones on her...and they have about half life, maybe a little less left on them.
Oh yeah...Yakima gutter mounted roof rack.
Asking $2400...but w/o all the extras.....maybe less...let me know what you are thinking.
