Thanks, was hoping I had some supper rare TRD model 80..
great looking 80 you put together..
I tried removing my sticker and the adhesive was not kind to the paint.. might be ordering custom stickers too..
I see the TRD off road badge on the rear side.. my LC had a similar sticker on the side. was that a factory sticker for an avalible option package or just a sticker?
those are pretty impresive results for just a radiator swap. mine never ran hot but I am only using the factory gauge. I would not be changing it had the mech not put a hole in it. I will try and get some data from mine. so for $1,000 everything OEM Toyota, I got all new hoses, oem clamps...
my 80 has the 4.5l and will be going off pavment in remote areas every trip. Not sure what everyone is saying about OEM not avalible? I ordered one from my toyota dealer today.. hopefully there is no problem getting it.
my 1st choice was OEM, but had to ask here if the RD was 3 times better since it cost $1,500 plus shipping with tax probally close to 2k. I have the OEM on the way now $520 inc tax. will save the RD for when I swap in the LS.. if ever. being in CA the smart guys in control dont want me to have...
no one has said anything neg about the stock rad.. as much as I like the RD hard to not go back with oem. I have the blue fan clutch mod. so I ordered the oem.. going to spend the extra grand on something else
PO's can be a head ache for sure, I am also dealing with a mech that is probally the...
I have a 93 FZJ80 223k stock no motor mods, 35"tires re geared to 4.88, dont tow anything.. have not noticed any cooling problems so far. wondering at 3 times the cost of OEM is the Ron Davis worth the extra money and is there any better cooling with it over stock?
not a daily driver used...

for what its worth I was the guy who started the thread and ended up with arms from superior. I dont have the caster numbers but can say with a 2.5" it drives proper.
the arms are really well made could hold the truck up. they clear slee rods with no clearence problems, bushings dont squeak...
Nemesis, can you post any pics of your TJM flairs. their site does not have any that I can find.
Did you install them and if so did they line up with factory mounts and holes?
I have a new GFCV2RTT currently on my 5th gen and it works great, interested in moving it to my 93 80. wondering if anyone can give me their experience with one installed on their 80 with factory GFC 80 mounts. ? is the wieght added to the roof noticible in a negitive way. did it effect MPG...
I keep going back to the age and type of rig your running, even if you have the best shocks/springs money can buy, perfect tire air pressure combo every nut and bolt gone thru your still in a 3 ton 25yr old rig that was not designed as a pre runner. I have driven 1000s of miles in baja and local...
great looking arm, how much are they shipped her to US? what deg of correction do they offer? I went with the superior standard arms and have had great results. got them in 1 week no excuses and great CS. just could not wait on Delta, I have had my share of problems getting Delta products.
solid steel, again very heavy only concern is unsprung wieght and now the arms are so strong something else might break i.e. mounts in an impact.
I am out on the boat this weekend, when I get home will take some pics. not to exciting but here is a pic I saw online with the arms not my truck.
one note on the OEM bolts though, I did reverse the bolt on the frame side by the CAT. not enough room to get it out easy without going in or out on an angle to clear the CAT. mine is a 1993 might not be a problem on other years.
I saw that and yes its looks really really nice.. I would need to drive one 1st. never been a fan of the 3 link unless its for rock crawling. great flex for sure.. I mostly do more pre running style driving fast through the desert and always though the 4 link looked stronger.
used old bolts to line everything up then pulled one at a time replacing with new OEM hardware. supper easy install no fighting just some leverage in the coreect spots and in they went..
